Minto US Open Photos

Here are some pictures from the previous years’ Minto US Open Pickleball Championships in Naples, Florida.

There are no photos from 2020 because there was no tournament in 2020 due to the pandemic.

At this time tickets are not required to experience the US Open. There is a nominal daily parking fee but, once onsite, you can watch pros and amateurs play on 59 courts throughout the park for free. There are also several US Open expo tents to shop from, and great food and drinks to be had in the Landshark Beer Garden, while enjoying live music.

Tickets are required to watch matches at the Zing Zang Championship Court. Daily tickets will go on sale later this year. If you want to experience the US Open, I highly recommend following the official Facebook page and joining the mailing list to ensure that you don’t miss any updates. The dates for next year are April 23-30, 2022.

Anyone can participate in US Open tournament events. There are no qualifying events needed. However, unless you are a previous US Open medalists, a spot isn’t guaranteed. Since spots are limited, the US Open uses a lottery process similar to Nationals. Dates to enter the US Open registration lottery haven’t been posted yet but, rest assured, I will give everyone a heads up as soon as I know. Rather than waiting on me, your best bet will be to follow the US Open Facebook page and join the mailing list as I mentioned previously.

Those who have been to the US Open say it is a tournament unlike any other because of the party atmosphere. I am definitely adding this to my list of tournaments to hit next year. Hopefully we can get a bunch of people from Wichita to go because it’s so much more fun when you go as a group. Save the date and let’s do this!
