This is a three day Doubles event held the weekend of December 1-3, 2023.

The Oklahoma City Life Time has 8 beautiful indoor tennis courts (16 pickleball) with an outdoor surface, perfect lighting and no wind, rain or sun to deal with. We will be using the Dura 40 or the Gearbox Outdoor Ball. Additional amenities including cafe, spa, steam room, sauna, and pools provide for the ultimate tournament experience. Event Details

• Men’s, Women’s & Mixed  2.5-3.0, 3.5-4.0,  4.5 & 5.0 – 50+ 2.5-3.0, 3.5-4.0, & 4.5+, 65+ 2.5-3.0, 3.5-4.0,  and 4.5+  
•  50/50 Division (one player over 50 and one player under 50) Junior and 50/50 can be any gender. If I have enough teams in the 50/50 I will separate them by gender.
• Round-Robin Format: 2 games to 11 points, win by 1 (bonus points awarded for games and matches won)
• All matches will be self-officiated.
• Weekend schedule:
  • Friday after 3 PM –  50/50 Divisions
  • Saturday – Men’s & Women’s Doubles
  • Sunday – Mixed Doubles
• Round Robin: You will play matches back to back and each division will be complete in 4-5 hours.

All divisions will be round robin format with either one group of players or multiple pools. You will play everyone in your group or pool. The combined skill divisions will have an upper and lower playoff bracket (min. 8 teams) depending on how you finish in your pool or round robin event. Playoff brackets will be 2 out of 3 matches time permitting.

• Online entry is the only method of entry and payment
• Division entry fees are $50 for 1st event, an additional $15 for a 2nd & 3rd event. You are only allowed to play in one division each day.

The USA Pickleball Diamond Amateur Championship will be held Dec. 3-10, 2023 and hosted by Pictona at Holly Hill in Florida—one of the nation’s finest facilities, featuring 49 courts.

Diamond Amateur Championship gold medalists will earn Golden Tickets—the ability to pre-register—for the 2024 USA Pickleball National Championships.

Format:

All events, including singles, will offer a pool-play format. If there are not enough teams for pool play, then a round-robin bracket will be played.

The top-four teams (from each pool or round-robin bracket) will move forward to the next round.

All pool-play matches, as well as all pre-medal matches, will be one game to 15, win by two points. The medal matches will be best two-out-of-three games, win by two points.

The gold-medal winners of each event will earn a Golden Ticket to the 2024 USA Pickleball National Championships.

This is a MMP format with our goal to have referees for all matches.

For a CONFIRMED spot in an event, both partners must be registered and paid. Players without partners or whose partners have not registered and paid within 1 day of their signup, will be moved to the waiting list. Once their partner signs up, they will be moved back into the event – IF THERE ARE SPOTS REMAINING IN THE BRACKET AND THE TOURNAMENT.
