The APP|Chicken N Pickle “Next Gen Series” is the first of its kind for both young adult men’s and women’s pickleball player development. The focus for our events is to create a platform that can have our top American pickleball players compete and be educated through our mentoring program, and to prepare them to represent the United States in future international and APP Tour professional competitions. Players participating in APP Next Gen Tour events will have the opportunity to display their skills for consideration for the APP U.S. Next Gen National Team. The 2024 APP U.S. Next Gen National Team players are Riley Bohnert, Jayden Broderick, Alia Brown, Jack Foster, Ava Kalist, Spencer Lanier, Richard Livornese, Cameron Luhring, Lauren Mercado, Jack Munro, Kaden Seward, Ivy Tschetter, & Brooke Revuelta. The APP Atlantic Cup debuted in 2024 featuring six players from each team competing over APP U.S. Next Gen National Team members against Team Europe. The APP Next Gen Tour debuted in 2021, and since then many of today’s top U.S. current pro players have taken part in our events – JW and Jorja Johnson, Dylan Frazier, Maggie and Mary Brascia, Wyatt Stone, Hayden Patriquin, Gabriel Tardio, Alix Truong, Amanda Hendry and Yana Newell.
