What is Friday Night Fiesta?

Friday Night Fiesta at TapNPaddles is a recurring, social pickleball event that blends friendly competition with a party-like atmosphere.

🎉 What it is

  • A weekly or recurring Friday evening pickleball event with a fun, social vibe.
  • This is a mixed doubles round robin so teams consist of one male and one female partner.
  • Teams rotate and play multiple matches, generally playing every other team each night.

🕓 Typical timing

  • Commonly runs for about 2 hours from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
  • Special editions (like celebrations or themed nights) may go longer or use more courts (think MEGA Fiesta during National Pickleball Month).

🏓 What you can expect

  • Structured game play
    • Round robin matches with multiple teams (usually one game to 11, win by 1)
    • Your team will play against all other teams so lots of games guaranteed
  • Social extras
    • Happy hour food & drink specials (starts at 7:00 pm on Fridays)
    • Fun music and lively atmosphere
    • Friendly competition
  • Prizes & perks
    • Small prizes are awarded to the winners
    • Fun photo-ops at the end with our bejeweled crowns
    • Bragging rights and recognition in the Wichita Pickleball Facebook group

👥 Vibe & crowd

  • Designed to be welcoming and community-focused, not just competitive
  • Mix of skill levels, everyone is welcome to join the fun
  • Great for meeting people and getting consistent Friday night play

📍 About the venue

  • Hosted at TapNPaddles, a 12‑court indoor pickleball facility with a bar and restaurant, so it’s set up for both play and socializing. This is THE BEST pickleball facility in Wichita and, dare I say, the entire state of Kansas.

Bottom line: Friday Night Fiesta is basically “pickleball + social night out”—structured games, prizes, and a party vibe all in one. It’s one of the more fun, community-driven events at TapNPaddles rather than a serious tournament. Join us every Friday at Tap by registering through their Court Reserve app.
