Launching in mid-2023, team owners will select the city they represent, as well as building their team through a live player draft that will include the division’s biggest stars. The League will feature current #1 ranked players, Beth Bellamy and Rick Witsken, along with national champions, Jennifer Dawson and Dayne Gingrich. Additional player commitments include the remaining top five women, Nathalie Bagby, Anna Shirley, and Eva Welsher. The 1st Annual Fernson Presents Skip Day Summer Smash pickleball tournament will be held August 11-13, 2023 at Huether Family Match Pointe in Sioux Falls, SD!!!
Over $9,000+ in payouts for all 28 divisions!!! Open Doubles: $1,750 ($500/$250/$125) Open Singles: $350 ($200/$100/$50) – All other division payouts will vary *8 team minimum per division for payouts*
The National Pickleball LeagueTM (NPL) has announced the formation of a nationwide team competition for Champions Division (50+) professional pickleball players. Launching in mid-2023, team owners will select the city they represent, as well as building their team through a live player draft that will include the division’s biggest stars. The League will feature current #1 ranked players, Beth Bellamy and Rick Witsken, along with national champions, Jennifer Dawson and Dayne Gingrich. Additional player commitments include the remaining top five women, Nathalie Bagby, Anna Shirley, and Eva Welsher. Pickleball icon and multiple Major title winner Scott Moore has also committed to the League, along with top men’s players Scott Crandall and Jose Derisi.

Pickle in Pitt – Johnson Family Pro Pickleball Day in Pittsburg, Kansas
Pickleball pros Julie, JW, and Jorja Johnson, along with coach Jack Johnson will be back in their hometown on Monday, August 28 for this event, recognizing their achievements in the pro-pickleball arena.
Joining the Johnsons will be professional pickleball players Gabriel Tardio and Dylan Frazier.
Events include Play with the Pros Games, a pickleball clinic, an exhibition match, and signed autographs with some of the top-ranked pickleball players in the world!
Proceeds from this fundraising event will go to maintenance and enhancements to the Jack Johnson courts, and new pickleball programs at the Four Oaks Sports Complex in Lincoln Park.

Pickleball Clinic Registration Begins Friday, August 18 Three 30-minute clinics for beginner, intermediate and advanced players. $30 per person (limited spots available). First four registrations guaranteed a spot!
