    2024 2nd Annual NW Arkansas Senior Tournament is an Age/Skill tournament for ages 50+. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Skinny Singles,, Men’s and Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

    Registration is $55, plus $10 for each event. USSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount.

    This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved.

    To join USSP, go to USSeniorPickleball.com, only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available.

    The tournament will limit registration to 300 players, or when the tournament director deems the day’s events are full.

    Brackets/Events will be round robin or pool play, single elimination brackets to follow. Players are guaranteed 4 games per event.

    The tournament director reserves the right to modify event formats as needed depending on registrations.

    Events may be merged or split based on registration numbers.

    Medals will be awarded based on standings in the original event (3 or more entries), or if the event was merged by a smaller event (2 or more entires) but not both.

    • Round-Robin Format: 2 games to 11 points, win by 1 (Bonus pts. awarded for games and matches won)
    • All matches will be self-officiated.
    • Weekend schedule:
      • Friday after 3pm-  50/50 & Heroes Divisions
      • Saturday – Men’s & Women’s Doubles
      • Sunday – Mixed Doubles
    • Round Robin: You will play matches back to back and each division will be complete in 4-5 hours.
    • Entry deadline: This tournament has closed EARLY the last 3 times, enter early.

      This is a set partner round robin + single elimination bracket tournament so choose your partner wisely!

      Additional Information:

      · Teams will play round robin matches – one game to 11, win by 1. (This is for seeding.)

      · Once pool play is over, everyone will play in a single elimination bracket. Bracket matches will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2. Change ends after each game. If a third game is required, change ends at 6 in the third game.

      · Winners of the semi-final matches will play for first and second place.

      · Losers of the semi-final matches may play for third place.

      · All players must have a DUPR account and must be members of Wichita Pickleball DUPR club.

    Tournament Fee Breakdown
    Registration Fee – $90 (Beginning August 19, 2024 the registration fee will be $100)
    Event Fee – $15
    PB Brackets Service Fee (we have no control over this) – $5-10

    DUPR ratings will be used to determine bracket placements.

    Scores will be uploaded to DUPR.

    Bracket Formats

    Brackets with 4 or more teams could take 4-6 hours to complete, please plan accordingly

    3 teams/players (only if necessary, we will try to combine any 3 team/player divisions with the closest age division possible)
    – Double-RR, games 1 to 15
    – Top 2 teams advanced to Gold Medal match, 2/3 to 11 win by 2
    – 3rd place team automatically receives Bronze medal

    5-7 team bracket
