Gendered teams of 3 players are broken into divisions (based on their combined DUPR rating) to compete against each other in three 21-point games. Top teams will face off in a bracket playoff. v3 Match Format: 3 games constitute a match. An example of the format is as follows:
Player 1 and Player 2 from each team play the first game

There will be a full round robin with games to 11 win by 2 that will then feed into a seeded single elimination bracket. Teams will switch sides when one team reaches 6 points. Single elimination bracket games will be 1 game to 15 win by 2. Teams will switch sides when one team reaches 8 points. There will be a bronze medal match. Medal matches (gold/silver and bronze) will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2. Teams will remain on the same side through game 1, then switch sides for game 2. If the match goes to a 3rd game, teams will switch sides when 1 team reaches 6 points. Each team can use 1, 1 minute time out per game. Serve and side selection will be determined by one team holding up a 1 or a 2 behind their paddle while an opponent from the opposing team chooses 1 or 2. Minor League Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete against each other in an engaging format, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games, matches, and tiebreakers. Teams compete against each other in Matches using the MLPlay™ format:
MLPlay™ is an ingenious gameplay format that brings men and women together on a level playing court. In the MLPlay™ format team matches are composed of four 21-point games, one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points. The Dink Minor League Pickleball is sweeping the nation with its innovative, fun and social amateur MLPlay™ Team Event. FORMAT Minor League Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete against each other in an engaging format, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games, matches, and tiebreakers. Teams compete against each other in Matches using the MLPlay™ format: MLPlay™ is an ingenious gameplay format that brings men and women together on a level playing court. In the MLPlay™ format team matches are composed of four 21-point games, one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points. 1:00 PM-4:00 PM July 26, 2026 1240 N Greenwich Rd, Wichita, KS 67206  Team Registration – $100 - Entry for one doubles team
