The Wichita Premier Pickleball League hosted by Chicken N Pickle is a league consisting of the best players in Wichita. There are four teams competing this season, each comprised of four primary players and two alternates. Here’s the breakdown of each team.
A combine was held at Chicken N Pickle on March 15 prior to the draft. Although I wasn’t one of the lucky few to be drafted, I was fortunate enough to participate in the draft and had an absolute blast playing alongside these awesome players.
This season’s schedule is as follows:
Each match consists of 4-5 games.
- Women’s Doubles
- Men’s Doubles
- First Mixed Doubles
- Second Mixed Doubles
- Optional Singles Dreambreaker (in case of a tie)
The doubles matches are standard scoring to 15, win by 2. The singles dreambreaker is rally scoring to 21, win by 2. All 4 team members play in a designated order and rotate every 4 rallies.
