Tournament Description
Regional Championships are now qualifiers for the new Diamond Amateur Championship (DAC). Gold and silver medalists from the regional tournaments will earn pre-registration into the DAC. Gold, silver and bronze medalists from regional tournaments will be entered into the lottery for the 2023 USAP National Championships in Indian Wells. Gold medalists from the DAC will earn pre-registration (golden tickets) to the following year's USAP National Championships at Indian Wells. MMP sanctioned tournaments will attempt to have as many matches refereed as possible.

In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points.

Major League Pickleball's Mid-Season Tournament is schedule to be played at Belknap Park in conjunction with the 2025 BEER CITY OPEN.2025 format will be Single Elimination with Consolation. More commonly known as "US Open Format with no come around. Finalists of the Winner's Bracket will play for the Gold Medal and all 1 loss teams will play for the Bronze Medal.
All Amateur Singles matches will be one game to 15, including the medal matches
Amateur Doubles Matches will be best 2 of 3 games to 11 in the main draw and one game to 15 for all Consolation Matches, except the Bronze Medal Matches which will be 2 of 3 games to 11.
Round Robin may be used for small brackets if necessary. RR matches may be one game to 15 or another format as determined by the TD.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
--There will not be a Senior Pro Event in 2025.
--Grounds Passes will be needed the access the facility for all Non Players Wednesday through Sunday.
--Grounds Passes for players are included with Registration for day of play only!!
--The BCO will continue to Referee as many matches as possible with a goal of 100%Ball - TBD, Dura Fast 40 Neon was used in 2024
