The 2023 Arkansas Senior Olympic Pickleball Tournament and Arkansas Open
We will run two tournaments:
Senior Olympics for ages 50+ (12 indoor courts)
Bashin' in Benton for all ages under 50, including College and High School Divisions (12 indoor courts)
Dates: September 15-17, 2023
Location: The River Center
Address: 1800 Citizens Drive, Benton, AR 72015
12 Indoor Courts, Wood flooring
Snack bar available with wide variety of food/water/drinks for purchase.
Food and drinks ARE allowed in seating areas and non-court area.
Seating - bring your own chairs/coolers/food/drinks - bleachers are available on playing floor.
Visitors are allowed - no fee
Tournament Ball: Onix Fuse Orange Indoor ball.
For the Arkansas Senior Olympics:
Events: Pickleball – Gender Singles (Standard), Gender Doubles, and Mixed Doubles
5-Year Age Groups: (starting at age 50+): 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
Divided into 3 Skill Levels:
Division I: 4.0+
Division II: 3.5
Division III: 3.0 and below
For the Bashin' in Benton tournament:
Events: Pickleball – Gender Singles (Standard), Gender Doubles, and Mixed Doubles
Age bands: Will be determined based on signups. Will have High School and College Divisions as well.
Skill divisions: open to 2.5 to 5.0+ players, will determine divisions based on entries.
This is a Non-Qualifying year for National Senior Games.

- The tournament will be conducted in a Round Robin format, with playoffs.
- Round Robin will consist of 1 game 1-15 points (win by 2). If there are 5 or fewer teams in a bracket, Round Robin will consist of 2 out of 3 games to 11 points (win by 2).
- The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust brackets, format, and merging of brackets as needed.
The Franklin X-40 (Green) ball will be used. The Tournament will request that DUPR upload the results of this tournament. -

This fun-filled event is designed for players of every level, whether you’re chasing the win or just out to enjoy some time on the court. Bring your friends, bring your family, and let’s celebrate the season with good vibes, great competition, and plenty of laughter. Every player will walk away with a custom CNP scarf, cozy and festive, and the perfect way to show off your pickleball pride all season long.
COMPETITIVE: For players who bring the heat! If you love a good challenge, and play with strategy and finesse, this is where the action is. Get ready to battle it out with the best!
SOCIAL: Perfect for those who are new to the game and still sharpening their skills. Expect good vibes, friendly matches, and lots of laughs.

Format: Mixed doubles round robin. Winners will be determine by win-loss record. In case of tie, we will use head-to-head and then point differential.
