Singles convenience league runs from January 1 to February 28, 2023. Cost for Wichita Pickleball members is $5; non-members $10. Event is round robin where you will play best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2, matches against all other players in your pool. July 18, 2026 All dayMen's combo 9.0 combined DUPR maximum tournament. There will be a full round robin with games to 11 win by 2 that will then feed into a seeded single elimination bracket. Teams will switch sides when one team reaches 6 points. Single elimination bracket games will be 1 game to 15 win by 2. Teams will switch sides when one team reaches 8 points. There will be a bronze medal match. Medal matches (gold/silver and bronze) will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2. Teams will remain on the same side through game 1, then switch sides for game 2. If the match goes to a 3rd game, teams will switch sides when 1 team reaches 6 points. Each team can use 1, 1 minute time out per game.Serve and side selection will be determined by one team holding up a 1 or a 2 behind their paddle while an opponent from the opposing team chooses 1 or 2. Winning team can select to serve, receive, or choose a side to start on.All games will be uploaded to DUPR upon completion of the tournament. Minor League Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete against each other in an engaging format, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games, matches, and tiebreakers. Teams compete against each other in Matches using the MLPlay™ format:
MLPlay™ is an ingenious gameplay format that brings men and women together on a level playing court. In the MLPlay™ format team matches are composed of four 21-point games, one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points. -
