Let's double down! This organized match play is open to players with a skills rating between 3.0-4.0. Two matches will be played each week and tournament play will be held the last class. Registration deadline is by noon, the day prior to the first class. Players will register individually. Due to limited spots, please sign up the same day as your partner.

    2026 The Pickleball DRS Summer Classic Tournament is an Age/Skill tournament for ages 50+. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Skinny Singles,, Men’s and Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
    Registration is $55, plus $10 for each event. USSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount.
    This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved.
    To join USSP, go to USSeniorPickleball.com, only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available.
    The tournament will limit registration to 250 players, or when the tournament director deems the day’s events are full.
    Brackets/Events will be round robin or pool play. Players are guaranteed 4 games per event.
    The tournament director reserves the right to modify event formats as needed depending on registrations.
    Events may be merged or split based on registration numbers.
    Medals will be awarded based on standings in the original event (3 or more entries), or if the event was merged by a smaller event (2 or more entires) but not both.
  • July 18, 2026 All day
    Men's combo 9.0 combined DUPR maximum tournament. There will be a full round robin with games to 11 win by 2 that will then feed into a seeded single elimination bracket. Teams will switch sides when one team reaches 6 points. Single elimination bracket games will be 1 game to 15 win by 2. Teams will switch sides when one team reaches 8 points. There will be a bronze medal match. Medal matches (gold/silver and bronze) will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2. Teams will remain on the same side through game 1, then switch sides for game 2. If the match goes to a 3rd game, teams will switch sides when 1 team reaches 6 points. Each team can use 1, 1 minute time out per game.
    Serve and side selection will be determined by one team holding up a 1 or a 2 behind their paddle while an opponent from the opposing team chooses 1 or 2. Winning team can select to serve, receive, or choose a side to start on.
    All games will be uploaded to DUPR upon completion of the tournament. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
