Updating Your Rating on the Website
Step 1: Login to your account on PlayTimeScheduler.com.
Step 2: Navigate to your account information by clicking on the Account button on the upper left.
Step 3: Update your ratings in the Profile tab.
- SELF-RATING – This is a self-reported rating that is static. It will remain the same as what you select until the next time you update it.
- UTR SPORTS – Click on the UTR SPORTS button to connect your UTR Sports rating.
- DUPR – Click on the DUPR button to connect your DUPR.
Step 4: Remember to click the Save button to save your changes!
Updating Your Rating in the App
Updating your ratings in the app is very similar to updating it on the web.
Step 1: Open the app in your phone and tap on the context menu (three horizontal lines on the upper right corner).
Step 2: Tap Account to view your account details.
Step 3: Scroll to the ratings section.
- SELF-RATING – This is a self-reported rating that is static. It will remain the same as what you select until the next time you update it.
- UTR SPORTS – Click on the UTR SPORTS button to connect your UTR Sports rating.
- DUPR – Click on the DUPR button to connect your DUPR.
Step 4: Remember to click the Save button to save your changes!
Benefit of Using UTR/DUPR vs. SELF-RATING
For users, the biggest benefit of connecting your UTR/DUPR in PlayTime Scheduler is that these numbers will automatically update as your rating increases or decreases.
The SELF-RATING is a static rating so it remains the same until you change it. If, over the course of six months to a year (or other time frame), your skills improve significantly, this rating does not go up until you change it.
With both UTR and DUPR, the numbers will automatically update to match your UTR/DUPR as you log results in the respective platforms by playing in tournaments and other ratings events without any additional action on your end.
Additionally, more and more organizers are using official ratings for more targeted play sessions to keep games competitive. If your UTR or DUPR is not connected and the organizer has set one of these as a parameter for the session, you will not be able to add your name to the event.
